Thanks for the replies. I'm building it mostly NA with a little nitrous (like a plate behind the throttle body). It seems there's more 3.790" pistons available than 3.785". I'd like to keep it small for future rebuilds. But that could be old school thinking.

I have an LH6 aluminum block at the machine shop presently, and I'm going .030 over. They have more than enough meat to go all the way out to 3.905. That leaves me a lot of material for future rebuilds, but I'm boosting this thing and probably will sleeve it before I bore it. Don't be afraid to go bigger - .020 over is pretty common.
