Priming ly6/ls3 Hello all,
My ly6/ls3 swap is going to have a remote oil filter. When pressure priming the engine with oil and a power bleeder, I’m planning on disconnecting the AN line going into the filter and connecting the pump at that point. Thoughts? If I understand the route of the oil from there, as long as I get seepage from the rockers, everything should be good and oiled at that point.

That’s the best way ie oil out of the rockers. Just be warned/ informed the you will have to rotate the crank to get all of the rockers primed. This whole process will take a while as probably 1/2 of the oil will back fill the oil pump which will require draining the oil and refilling the primer. Perhaps multiple times. It did for me anyways.
