Default Need help with cam selection, please!

Hi, I am looking for some help with my 3rd try at selecting a Cam for my build, the car will be 95% of the time street driven, low load, low speed drivability are very important to me, any and all help is much appreciated, thanks.
The build started with a 6 litre LY6 that got bored 20 over and stroked, I don’t know the exact compression ratio but I believe it’s around 11:1.
It uses an LS3 intake 92mm TB and some slightly better than stock LS3 type exhaust manifolds with dual 3” the rest of the way. T56 trans and sits at around 3000 lbs. The first cam I used was a Summit Stage 4 LS3 cam (234/248, lsa 114+3, 0.625/0.605) and it was terrible for what I was looking for. The second and current cam in the car is a BTR LS3 Stage 1 (221/228, lsa 112+2, 0.613/0.605) and even though a big improvement still not working the way I’d like in the drivability department.
I would have liked to use long tube headers, but there is just not enough room to fit any unfortunately and I think this might be the reason for my battle with reversion even on this Stage 1 cam that most people seem to consider mild.
My previous failed attempts to pick something suitable (even though I followed advise from vendors) have prompted me to ask the question here.

A couple of options I am considering:

TSP 220R (220/220, 600/600, lsa 112)
TSP 224R (224/224, 600/600, lsa 114)
Cam Motion LS3 Stage 3 (220/230, 595/595, lsa 117+4)

Thanks again for your help.

For what you want with stock manifolds, get a cam with more exhaust duration to help scavenge on the exhaust stroke.
You'll notice even stock cams have longer exhaust duration.
A good cam for you would be something like the Cam Motion LS3 Stage 2 (216/226,116+3, .553/.553)
It would be a smooth cam for what you want. The Stage 3 might still be rougher than you like.

You may also need to consider the person behind the keyboard not doing what you need as well. A big cam can drive very nice.

Stroke?
Rearend Gearing?
Transmission?
Converter stall (if applicable)?
Vehicle weight?
Rear tire size?

drivability is going to depend largely on the tuner.

I have to go with the others. In terms of driveability, it shouldn't be an issue with your current cam in that setup. It's likely within the tuning. Get that sorted first.

And then if you still want a new camshaft for sake of power, as GAtsma mentioned, get something custom made with a larger split to help the exhaust side. Maybe something along the lines of 220/234 115+5. Cammotion should be able to dial in something for your exact setup.

Echo again the current cam should be easily tunable.

In terms of the "right" cam for a stroker that camshaft you have now is very small, but for low rpm performance I'd argue it is not a bad pick.

For more all around power with the stroker for high rpm you could do the stealthy stroker cam from cammotion, but this will trade low end for top end.

I think those guys are few and far between. May have to have it remote tuned. Get ahold of Josiah that owns FDF Raceshop in Trenton Ontario. He has a few drift cars that run Link and he had to have someone remote tune his.
