Default Lz1 ?

I have come across an engine from a 2011 Sierra Hybrid. Took a bit of searching to find out what the RPO code is but it's an LZ1.

Aluminum block 6.0 with 243 or 799 heads. Pretty much an LS2 with less cam by the sounds of it.

Any one ever use one of these for a mild street build?

Just get VVT and DOD/AFM delete kits and go to town.
Just a good ol' aluminum block/cathedral head 6.0 is what you'll have. ,
Later day LS2 as you said....
And not too much less cam-
LZ1 is 200/208, .472/.479, 116LSA
LS2 is 204/211, .525/.525, 116LSA. This one does have a nice lift advantage...
