Default What should my next mod be?

1999 Camaro Z28 with an LS3 // BTR Stage 2 Cam swapped inside.

My original goal was to Magnacharge it with a TVS2300 kit from Hawks Motorsports but now I am having second thoughts.

Should I just keep it NA and throw on an intake manifold and better heads or should I go F.I.?

I was thinking twin turbos but I must keep the AC operational.

If you want much over 500 at the wheels with decent manners, the blower is the way to go. I had a C6 Vette with mild cam and bolt ons that did well over 650 wheel with the Heartbeat Magnuson TVS2300. Less than 10psi. 750 wheel is easily done with E.

By the time you spend $5K on a set of top notch heads and upgraded intake manifold, you're not that far away from a blower setup cost wise.

Pick your poison. I've done it both ways. The TVS setup can be more than a handful even on drag radials. My current N/A Vette is ported heads, ported and rod modded stock intake manifold, bump in static CR, along with a mild cam. At 500 wheel, the power it has is all useable. And, it's not trying to kill me when I mat the throttle.

Id look at the gwatney 2.0 package, you can get close to 600rwhp on an Ls3 n/a ive considered it myself but want to build a big cubic inch engine and make 680-700rwhp n/a (goal)

I'm not familiar with that kit. If it's made for an LS1, that pretty much means catty port heads. As in it will work fine for LS1's and 2's. With an LS3, you're dealing with square port heads and you need to source a blower system accordingly.

That type of blower won’t fit in your car unless you hack it up. I’m talking about removing the windshield wiper, cutting the cowling under the windshield, and hammering the firewall in. I have seen a few cars with those blowers, but they become fair weather only cars. Definitely not a daily driver.

If you want a supercharger, get the centrifugal type. Otherwise, the Huron Speed ac retaining turbo kit is your best bet.
