Default L96 swap/known issues to fix?

Hey all, I'm in the clean up/fix stage of getting an L96 ready to drop into my C10 project. It is a very clean 130K motor/tranny combo pulled from a fleet truck wreck. Came with all service records, so I know it was maintained well. I've read about the common problems these may have; like knock sensors going bad, TPS sensors going bad, obvious change the water pump. It's getting all new accessory items like alt., power steering pump, AC compressor, and I've replaced the known sensor issues mentioned above, but what are some other things you all would do? I'm replacing valve guide seals at the moment, and it will be getting new plug wires, new O2 sensors because headers and new MAF sensor because cold air intake. I'm keeping the stock harness that has been altered for AFM delete because of the 6l90 tranny. Made that decision before they decided to come out with the Holley harness that has the transmission module.

This is my first swap, so I want to get it right. Was cleaning up the passenger side of the block for paint and noticed it would be a b__tch to replace the crank sensor if it were to go bad, but have heard of everyones horror stories with aftermarket sensors.

I agree with Monte Carlo. The Oem sensors are going to be hands down, more reliable than anything you can purchase at a parts counter, including GM’s counter unfortunately. Valve seals aren’t a bad idea, but Oem seals will go 300k miles no problem if it’s maintained and not overheated. Basically, clean it up, paint it, and enjoy it.
