Engine has less then 1000 miles on it.
So i decided it was to much motor for such a nice car and I needed a engine in my little Vega race car. So I bought a new GM 525 hp long block to replace it with.
So out cam the 416 and replaced it with the GM 525. When i switching out the oil pan I noticed the sparkels in the bottom of the pan of the 416 motor. After i started looking into where they came from i noticed the end of the push rods on the rocker arm end was very shiney. I was having trouble when i would start it up as the lifters where bleeding down when it would sit for a few weeks at a time.
So at this point I need to refresh the 416 and try to get more power out of it.
My wants are 750 HP and a solid lift cam. I going to to install a carb and intake on it now.
Looking fo advice because i know there a lot smart people here !!
That's a very nice El Camino!
