Oil pressure is low
, so alls good
Next issue is what clutch to buy, I hv a mantic twin ceramic plate now and it has started slipping , about 4000miles on it. I’m thinking maybe go a triple plate….
Thoughts???
I was running a twin mantic 32 lbs . the monster triple drive better 45lbs with an aluminum flywheel,I’ve not been to the track yet,but by just driving it ,I believe it would be easier to launch.
I’ve got about thousands miles on it and it’s a lot easier to pull out.
hope this helps
what cam did you go with?

Mamo specced the cam for me , it’s a 258/272 .680 lift solid roller
I like the McLeod RXT 1200HD personally. I have one in my car(s) that make 1000rwhp/1000rwtq+ and they drive like a kitten. I don't launch it hard.... but have been 9.3@163mph+ in my 3050lb turbo LS9 RX-7. I have one in a 3650lb '69 Chevelle (turbo alum 5.3) but have no times yet.
go with a triple clutch for less maintenance
my friend that run Kentucky Speed install lots of clutch for customer
and he says that the triple monster clutch is best driving one he’s install
i have to say that the car run a lot smoother ,since I rebuild the short block and change the clutch and I’m running a bigger cam now 262/268 with 700 lift
