LS3 Cooling system problems
LS3 Cooling system problems I am having problems with my heater hoses leaking after I shut the engine off. I can't seem to stop the leaks no matter how tight I get the clamps. Is their a chance the pressure is too high for some reason. Has anyone else experienced this problem. Thanks, Bob
You probably need to either get a new hose or cut off that 2 inches or so and start with a fresh end. These hoses seem to wear mate a certain way and if you reposition them after a while it is difficult to get them to reset back to where they were. I would cut off 2 inches first and see if that helps. I know on the ones with the spring clamps, unless I put the spring clamp back exactly where it was (this is on older hose - I can see spring indents in the hose) it will leak.
