SBC to LS Length

SBC to LS Length Does anyone know the difference in the rear of the block between L92 and a SBC. I’ll be using ICT mounts to keep the engine in neutral position but I’ve heard the rear of LS blocks are shorter and I want my shifter to come out of the floor in the same location.
Id bolt the trans to a mock-up block and set it in with the new mounts. Make sure the trans mount is in place and snug it down, and then see how the ICT engine mounts line up….mod if necessary. That’s the only sure way to have the trans in the same spot.
