LY6 versus L96

LY6 versus L96 Looking to see if there are any major differences between the LY6 and the L96. As far as I understand, the L96 did not have DOD and LY6 did come with DOD. Are there any other major differences between the two where parts would not interchange? I would obviously be deleting all AFM/DOD equipment regardless so I dont believe that is an issue.
I don't think either engine had AFM, I know the L76 did not. Both were VVT,
L96 is flex fuel so it would have higher flowing injectors.
They are both the same engine if you are planning to mod one or the other.
