Default Main cap dimensions

Anyone out there have the dimensions for the main caps locations to the block? Thanks

The stud location on the block domain caps, primarily the two locations next to the centerline of the block. Using the same bearing on another block and want to make sure I get the bearing crush the same.

Wait-Are you saying you're using a main cap from a different block than the one you're working on?

I want to use a ls bearing on another chevy block. The caps and block is all all custom and just want to confirm the stud locations.

The inner studs are interchangable with other inner studs and the same goes for the outer ones. The inner studs are longer than the outer ones. There's really no way to mess that up because when they're installed properly they are at the same even height. Main caps however do have a secific place they belong and are numbered 1 thru 5 with the No. 1 main cap being at the front of the engine and the No. 5 at the back of the engine. You'll also notice that 1-4 face the front and No. 5 main cap is rotated where the number 5 stamping is opposite to the side where 1-4 are which is towards the back of the block.
