Jesel cam washer
Ok, here goes! I converted my L92/LS3 to a Jesel drive and a Peterson dry sump. It took some machine work and but it's tucked way back on the engine being this is in a swapped Porsche Boxster S. I did not feel like re-doing the front engine cover of this proven car, which we ran all year last year on the track. Jesel reason: The BTR timing chain after 1700 track miles and 33 hours, is a sloppy POS. .I'm not going to trust it! My friend goes through a chain every two years, now runs a Katech fine blank chain. after breaking two in a C5 track car Me, I wanted it so I put it in!
Problem: I have a "new style" "direct fit" Jesel drive, with back up idler. The ATI cam sensor bracket, has to be modified to fit, because it was designed for the "earlier " Jesel. That's easy BUT, the supplied washer interferes with two of the nuts, that clamp the upper pulley to the drive hub. .ATI is working on the reason, but anyone happen to run into this? I prob will use Jesel washer, which is meant for a sensor pick up and the ATI bracket
