706 heads on 6.0 I’m rebuilding an LY6 short block for my crew cab. Looking for a torquey motor with clean idle. Running a 206/218 .555 117+5 cam.
if it worth sending the heads off to TPS to make them PRC 2.5 heads? They will deshroud the valves and add larger ones. They flow much better .400-.600 lift. Just trying to justify getting a basic rebuild or going all out on what’s the best route for my build.

With those cam specs, you could just run them as-is and make great torque.
Porting and larger valves will make more power at 4K+ rpm; don't know how much time you will be spending there.
For the record, I'm planning to build a 6.0 with 862 heads in the near future.
