Default ls2 is stronger than ls1???

as the title says........

so i read an article in fastest street car magazine, and from what i gather the ls2 can hold considerably more power than the ls1 motor? that all i need is a stroker crank and BAMMM!!!.....402+ ci?!?!? lighter too??? WOW!

does anyone know how far these motors can be pushed with a stroker crank and factory bore, or .030" over, and d.p. n2o?? or what's the fastest one out there now? would much rather have an aluminum block that has not been resleaved.

would love to know if i could put together a solid roller aluminum 402+, fully ported AFR 225's, with a sheet metal intake and a two stage 200-250 shot on pump gas freindly 11:1 or so cr,!!! and, very important, can i use a factory ls1 computer if converted to work with ls2 sensors????????

a lot of questions, i know. but please, any help, and especially all help, would be greatly appreciated!

thanks guys,
Dave

These motor are so new that they need to be tested. Guess you couild be the first to test and see. If they are anything like the ls1 you can do **** to them unless you reslave the bitch.

I dont think it would be. That is to high of a CR to though a 250 shot on it and still try and runn pump gas. You would need 105 or to drop the CR.

sorry, didn't know i was asking questions to the mentally handicapped.............j/k

well, it doesn't look like anyone knows the answer to this question yet...hope to see some projects come together to see how far the ls2 can be taken with a stroker crank and factory sleeves.

Dave

ls2 block needs to be sonically tested to see how far over we can take it. kj @ sdpc was talkin about that last week. they hope to test the first block they can set aside. other then the strength question...its just like any other 6.0L block with a better tb/intake setup, and ls6 heads.
