KJ@SDPC a little help!
I know there's alot of info scattered thru a few threads about the LS2 parts.I was wondering if when you got a chance you could compile a thread for what all is needed part wise with costs to make the switch over easier.
I'm sure a few guys would really appreciate it.I know i would.I'm getting ready to have a motor built and would like to get a consolidated list for the LS2 before i make up my mind.
I appreciate any help you can give.

You can use many pieces off of the LS1/LS6 on a LS2 block. The only for sure things that you have to change is:
Front cover
cam sensor
cam timming gear
knock sensors
valley cover
The timming chain used in the LS2 is nicer than the stock LS6 chain but get this. GM did a part # change on the LS6 chain and the new # is...you guessed it, the LS2 timming chain. All the LS1/LS6 PCM's should read the cam and knock sensors correctly. We hope soon, thatsome of the people that have bought blocks from us will let us know the low down on doing this swap. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to pm or email me!!
