Hey everyone, I was wondering how much it would cost for a dealer to swap out my ls1 in my GTO for a ls7. Assuming the dealer would do it, how much would laber+price of engine be? Also how much how I get for a ls1 with 1kmiles on it? I know that the ls7 is still being debated about but iam just interested.

Probably would cost around 20k give or take a few.

wow, guess its not happening until my engine dies. Btw is there a plan for the ls7 in the GTO?

Your dealer will most likely not do it. The LS7 will only be EPA emissions legal for the vehicle it comes in, 2006 Z06, and not your GTO. You would have to contact somebody like LPE or such to get something like this done.

I know they had a prototype that was posted in this section a little while ago, don't remember the name of the thread but try doing a search on 575hp gto. It had the ls7 with 575 hp and looked really nice, much more aggressive than the current gto's.
