yeah that one part number isnt even valid and SDPC quoted me, for ls7clutch/ls2 flywheel/new TO bearing and New slave for 660 not including shipping. So 499 was a killer deal because they don't offer that anymore. its about 50 bucks more.

LS7 and LS2 flywheel are the same part number, same flywheel

I was one of the first guys to run the LS7 clutch on a LS1. I work at a Chevy dealer and as soon as the parts became available I bought them. I was not happy with the old LS6 clutch because I was making more power than it could handle. It has been a little over 4 years and 90,000 + miles since I installed the LS7 clutch. It is a great street clutch and has good manners and will hold my 452/418 with no problem. But it is not a good clutch for the guy who is going to the drag strip. There are many posts concerning the LS7 clutch and its less than steller drag strip performance. Stock LS7s put around 450-460 to the wheels. And many have upgraded their performance to levels higher than that and the clutch has held up fine. But as I said before it is a very good street clutch for someone on a budget but it is not a race clutch. I have a LS9 clutch already to go in as the replacement for this LS7 when it wears out.
