Z06 track times I dont't know if sombody has posted this already but I thought you migh find it interesting.

sorry, but there is -no- way a 3100ish pound car with 500hp that traps 128-130 is gonna run mid 11's.
i'm running mid 11's and 9 less mph with 100 less hp and several thousand more pounds.

With that trap speed I calculate just over 600 flywheel hp and should run a 10.5 with a good set of tires. I was figuring race weight at 3100 lbs. which may be off. I think realistically a 10.9 should be attainable.

It's called running on street tires, and not being able to 60' for ****, therefore not getting the power down til midtrack. My gosh man, don't you know anything at all about the basics of drag racing!! The car should easily be capable of that mph on street tires. Ask other big ci smallblock owners on this board. I know of a few personally that have pulled mph like that on street tires.

ET and MPH seem normal to me, especially for street tires. I ran 11.2 @ 126 on motor in my Formula with 18" Pirelli tires on it, but it would go 10.6 @ 129 on slicks. My car was 500 rwhp and 3650 lbs at the time. That Vette is much lighter and much more aerodynamic. Bet it is only putting down 450 rwhp stock.
