Do we have some production dates on any of the latest LSx heads? I myself would like to do an LS project and am very curious about the LS7 heads and when they're gonna hit the shelves.

For those of you that pay attention to .500" flow numbers, 337 is STOUT for as little work as we have put in these heads. LS7 flow numbers coming soon, as long as, you know

The LS3 was probably the motor used in the concept orange GTO and blue Colorado that GM let out for the WoodWard Dream Cruise...

I know of at least one LS1 motor that could definitely use a set of LS7 heads that flow 400cfm@800-900 I also know of a company that would love to have a set of 5.3L heads that flow 330ish cfm...

When I want to go I downshift and GO. A lot of this talk of low speed flow numbers comes from those who are stuck in the carburator era.
The question was about low-lift flow. Your valves are partially open for way longer then they are at peak-lift so those numbers are very important to making power. Doesn't have too much to do with engine speed

And these low-lift numbers are very stout

A 2.20 valve is huge.
The heads were also flowed on a 4.125 bore, however I bet for stock castings they would still work nicely on a 4" bore with a 2.08 valve.

we wanted them to compare with the ls7 stuff They take a very large valve stock, They also may be for a larger bore

The engine in the Colorado pickup was an LS2, but the engine in the orange GTO is definitely NOT an LS2. I believe it was an LS7, since the manifold was definitely the LS7 design and the head casting number was 8452, which I do believe is the LS7 head.

When tooley get into the LS7 head my prediction is at or near 300@.4", 350CFM@.5"
and 400CFM will be achieved at .700" lift. If exaust side even gets to 250@ around .600"
things will be great.

Now how does that intake do, and can someone discuss runner flow and length.
