I ordered a set of forged DPE wheels this week. Similar to HRE wheels, they should be here in about a month.

Alot of options I could go with under the hood, haven't decided yet. But, you can count on it not staying stock

now just as a question... since you make a profit off of LS1tech with the other owners, it is taxable income correct? so this site is a "business", so is that Vette a tax write off since you can claim it as a project car? just was curious

I would guess so. I know everything that my father buys is a tax right-off since he owns a construction company. So I am guessing this would be the same sort of deal.

No way. Old school like, Mustang red interior is crap.

New age red style leather kicks ***. If that makes any sense to you. I've got a buddy with a 911 Carrera S w/red interior and it's straight up BALLER. I've got another guy I know with an '04 M3 silver w/ red interior and silver trim. So sick, I would have to say red leather in sports car can't be beat. I'm a big fan of black too, but red is just as pimp.

I had the red cloth inserts in my LT1...that was the best looking interior available IMHO for the 4th gen

Nope. But, the IRS will allow anyone to deduct the sales tax paid on any vehicle purchased during the year for income taxes. They just started that this past year.

If I were to qualify this car as a business purchase, then I'd have to carry more expensive car insurance, and I'd also have to have a excellent credit history with this company. We really don't have a credit history since we haven't purchased anything under "ls1tech". Make sense?

Tony,
about eight months back I sent a few inquiries back and fourth to DPE, but never heard anything more about corvette fitments. I love some of thier styles, but have only seen them on BMWs.

What did you go with? R05-s? Did they perfect the 3" lip for vettes?

If you dont mind post or PM me about your experiences with DPE.

Thanks and congrats again

Niphilli, one of our new sponsors (Daemon Motorsports) has set up the Corvette fitments with DPE. Prior to that, you are correct. Only BMWs, Porches, euro cars.

I went with the RO5-VS in black powdercoat. Not sure on the lip for these C6 vettes, I've yet to see any rear wheels on one with a big lip, unless the offset was wrong and they stuck out too far.

Great looking cars Tony. I have a 69 Camaro SS396(Unrestored original), a red 02 Camaro SS and and a black C6.

I just ordered Kook's headers for the C6 Yesterday.
