LS7 Connecting Rod Length?
LS7 Connecting Rod Length? What length connecting rod did GM choose for the NEW 427 LS7?
LS1 center distance.............. 6.098"
Aftermarket center distance... 6.125"

we know the stroke is 4 in and that the deck ht of the block is the same as ls1. From the pictures it looks as though the oil ring does not go thru the pin bore like they do with 6.125 rods. Therefore I think the rods must be close to stock ls1 length?

Wow, so this really has no point... but That thing has almost no first ring land height..... but I just keep thinking of my ones for the 3.6" stroke........ and blower setup...... hella thick ring lands on those..........
