Stroker Cam spec
Stroker Cam spec Hey all you 402 ls2 stroker guys out there.
What is a good cam to run in a 402 stroker. I need your help.
I want to make a good street/strip car, that is streetable but makes good power. Hoping for 500rwhp/500 rwtq.
I was thing of the MTI Z1 cam 236/236 .585/.585 ,112 lsa At.50"
Do you guys think its too small. Any Ideas???
Any sound clips of cars idling would also be great.
I am building a 402 stroker with the following.
Fast 90/90
Stage 3 heads int 330/ ext 230
ls2 402 short block with eagle rotating ***

at what lift do your heads flow 330 cfm? If it's at .600 or better, then you'll need a cam that has a lift of at least .600. 236/236 .585 .585 seems like it would run well but you definately could go bigger with the parts your using.
