Default LS2 402 update

We did a LS2 from Kris at SDPC a little while back.We ordered it for 9.5-1 compression. The shortblock was top notch. We added AFR 225 heads and a 232 blower Cam.With that setup and a basic tune it pushed 435hp/430tq with low timing.
Since, we added the customer's existing P1 supercharger. With only 4lbs of boost at redline the car made 550hp/500tq on pump gas and 26 degree's of timing which indicates the motor is way under boosted

Hopefully soon we will get more boost in it and hit the 700+hp on pump gas where it should be.

I just wanted to thank Kris for the excellent shortblock he sent us and let everyone know that the SDPC shortblocks are definitely high quality

Don - Thanks for the update. I agree about SDPC; I just can't say enough good things about Kris and the whole crew over there. They are great to deal with and SDPC is a reputable company that delivers what they promise. My shortblock was delivered as promised in 3 weeks.

I have their shortblock and your tune for my LS2 402 and finally will fire it up this weekend. Can't wait.

Thank you to both of you guys. All I can say is we do our best to build a quality product for a reasonable price. Our 402 LS2 has for sure been a hit, and I hope that continues! We have lots of new things to come, and as always if you need anything at any time, please let me know!!!

Big cubes, aluminum block, SDPC quality, SDPC price - can't beat it.

I will be installing my SDPC 408 iron block within the next few weeks. I opted for the TEA 6.0L stage 3 heads with 72cc combustion chambers to run 11.2:1 CR. Kris Jones helped me every step of the way and gave me great deals on other items I ordered from him as well.
