Default Ls2 and DOD

Hi: I see that the new DOD motors are out in the trucks now. Is only the 5.3 going to be released this year or is also the 6.0. If anyone has drive one yet how is the power response, idle and noise level? If the block is the same as the LS2 then you could build a head and cam car or stroker motor and run a truck computer and custom harness. Anyone pondering this idea with the high gas prices? Thanks

That's exactly what I wanted to do with my 402 LS2 stroker....... until I found out the cost of the LS2 computer and harness!!!

Let's just say I'd have to save a LOT of gallons of gas to pay for them. I'll stick with the LS1 harness & PCM for now. Maybe if the prices drop in the future, or I can get a deal off a wrecked one, then I'll look at switching it over. DOD would definitely be nice!!
