Need input on oil leaking from Head. LS2 So I get a little puff of smoke every once in a while coming from the drivers side. Finally did it today and I found it.
The red arrow in the first pic shows the area.
In the second pic, the blue arrows show where I see oil and am assuming that the leak is. The red arrow shows the tab on which it collects and drips off of.
There is no sign of water in oil or oil in water.
Where are the oil passages in the head? They only allow the oil to drip back down from the rockers right?
These are cometic gaskets and the torque sequences were followed.
Should I just take that head off and try to re-seat it again, cleaning off any debri, if any is there?
Should I try to Torque the bolts another 20* or so to see if that stops the leak before ripping the head back off?
Just looking for some good input here.
It was doing this before the n20, in case that helps.
