whats the deal with DOD. why didnt it come on the ZO6? is it evolving or what? cause gm could kick japans *** with dod. 500 hp and 30+

 

Displacement on Demand found its way into a prototype Z06. GM decided that vette purists (which probably make up the majority of Z06 sales) wouldn't like the idea of the vette running on 4 cylinders. Actually, GM designers thought the car sounded like crap; too tinny and whiney when running on 4. Why buy a $60,000 sports car and worry about gas mileage? I'm guessing most exotic car owners don't.
