Default LS2 in a '77 Camaro

I basically want to drop an LS2 in my Camaro and set it up as a pro touring/road racing car, but keep it fully smog legal. I have a few questions:

1. Has anybody done an LS2 swap into a late second gen before?

2. Is an LSx swap into a late second gen the same as in an early second gen?

3. Is an LS2 swap the same as an LS1/LS6 swap (I know they're pretty similar engines, but I'm not sure if I can use all the brackets and everything I would use for an LS1/LS6)

4. Would the Martz subframe for LS1/LS6 swaps work with an LS2 swap?

5. Which manual transmission is typically used with LS2s? (is it the same T-56 as in LS1/LS6 cars?)

6. Regarding California smog, would I be able to run true duals with dual cats legally, or would I have to use a y pipe setup? (I should probably ask the DMV about this)

Thanks

get the martz. I just got mine. you wont regret it quality/service is excellent. All of the lsx stuff should be the same. Avout the smog just make sure it conforms to 77 specs(ie. cats in the correct places if it had a smog opump keep the air system etc) then have it approved by a ref then get it smogged. After all this is done you can mod the hell out of it because by the time your two year smog comes around the 30 year deadline will have passed
