ls2 electronic question??? im doing the ls2 conversion. its race only, so the only thing im worried about is will the 98 computer with the painless harness work with the ls2 cam sensor and crank sensor? or should i use 98 sensors?

Yes You remove the factory oil pressure sender (on block at back behind intake manifold, install adapter with Autometer sender that came with gauge. Or use plugged hole or drill & tap hole on the block's casting boss above the oil filter if, for your application you must retain the OEM sender.
