SES light with LG Headers

SES light with LG Headers I have had the headers on my 06 Z06 for 200 miles and now the light is on. Can the codes be check and reset though the DIC like my C5 or do I need a code reader/scan tool? Who makes a code reader for the LS7?

Every car has to be OBD2 compliant since 1997, so yes, you can read the codes on your 06 Z06 with a normal scanner. You could even go to AutoZone and they'll read them and clear them for you for free. I had a re-occuring code on my 01 Z28 after doing Stainless Works headers. The O2 sensors had insufficient switching because they do not run hot enough when you use long tube headers. I finally just turned the codes off. Good luck and enjoy that car!!!!
