LS7 Crate Engine from Jeg's

I just got the latest Jeg's. They have the LS7 crate motor, less lines and tank for dry sump, for $12,999.00. Listed at 500HP @ 6200, and 478 lb.-ft @4800. Is this a good deal, or are there better deals around?

seems like a good deal to me since some people are marking them up because they have been hard to get. 13k is the price that they started selling at. i would buy it for that price if i didnt have hook ups.

I have heard that the dealer is paying 12,000 for it. So 12,999 is pretty fair.

Yes, that would be a descent deal. You could order it from Jeg's. However, from what I have heard, good luck actually getting one from there. ...got mine from Kris @ SDPC.
