Are there any ways *currently* to get the ls7 intake to work with current lsx based motors ?

I beleive that the ls7 intake will only work if you use the ls7 heads as well. I could be wrong though.

Yes, you need heads with LS7 style intake ports and bolt pattern. Other than the GM castings, I believe ET and World Products are (or will be) offering heads that will match the LS7 intake.

The next question is, WHEN can we get our hands on an LS7 intake????????

Isn't it already out? I could have sworn I seen it on gmpartsdirect.com for sale.

Richard, (or anyone), will milling the heads .040 or so negatively effect the flow characteristics of this head?

I personally haven't seen anyone with an LS7 intake, if you know where I can get my hands on one, please let me know. On the other hand, yes, the LS7 heads have been around for a while.

I haven't had the opportunity to mill the LS7 more than minimum so I can't say what effect it will have.
