LS7 Header Flanges
LS7 Header Flanges Has GM made available a header flange for users who want to make custom headers? Or does anyone know of anyone in the aftermarket who has an LS7 weld up kit? The factory headers are nice but not firendly to the older car's chassis or side exhaust!
Hmmm. Mis-match is good on the bottom side of the exahust port to prevent reversion if the mis-match is when the head runner is smaller or higher than the header tube. Exhaust gas tend to travel on the floor of the runner and a mis-match with the header tube and head port going out of the head is not a good thing. But if the header tube is round port and the head port is D port this is a good thing. Assuming the flat side of the D is bottom of the port. This is stabdard big Chevy arrangement.
