Question LS2 timing set?

Why does the Ls2 have that pivit barring,(the barring that goes behind the cam gear) on the timing set and the LS1 doen't. Or does all timing sets have them, I bought a Motion rollmaster. I am asuming that is what they are called.

You either have N-motion, which is what SDPC sells, then you have the Rollmaster, which is a diffrent brand. The torrington bearing keeps the cam from having a friction rub against the cam retainer plate. I don't think the stock LS-2 chain comes with it, but most aftermarket chains have it as an upgrade.
