well at least one existed. it was seen on the Nurbering (sp?) in germany kickin a$$. Superchared LS7 basically, rumored around 650+ HP

it may not be super charged cause i know 2 years ago there was a prototype that was out that made about 600ish hp and they decided not to make it because it was too much power.....
this is from a very reliable source.....
my friend is the NHRA holley truck driver and knows alot of the drivers and pro teams.... he was talking to warren johnson about it and he said that he has been helping develop the LSx motors for years.... and he said the first prototype ls7 car had about 600ish hp....
and on a side note warren johnson developed the ls6 intake and the ls7 intake.

This photo is the car that Jan Maggnason (sp) drove at "the ring" and turned a 7.42 lap..it IS NOT the blue devil..it was a stock 2006 Z06..if the blue devil ever happens it will probably not show up until 08 or 09..I would not be holding my breath waiting for this car to become available...they can't even produce enough of the current Z06 to meet demand..probably only see 3000-3500 produced this year..engine availability is the limiting factor in the production of the Z06..
