Not enough flow???
I am running a 402 with heads/cam/exhaust... etc... I am only pushing a little of 400 rwhp and noticed something yesterday.
My rev limiter is set at 7000 but when my car gets up 6500 it won't rev any further on the dyno. The car doesn't hesitate or bog, its like I am holding the gas at 6500. Does this sound like I am not getting enough air through my LS6 intake? I also have the stock TB. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Tim

^^^^What he said^^^^ And it could be running out of fuel.
I know positively the rev limiter is set for 7k and its not like when someone bounces off a rev limiter, like I said, it is like I am just holding the car at 6500 rpms but the car is floored. Its also a TH400. As far as fuel, I am running 42.5 injectors and have an intank walbro 255. The A/f was constant 12.8-13. Being that I am only pushing a lil more than 400 rwhp, thats more than enough of a fuel system. If I was running out of fuel, wouldn't that make it run lean?
Thats where I am thinking its in the MAF, TB or intake...
Thanks again. Tim
