Default ls7 pushrod length?

I could have sworn it was over 8". However, I used a 7.800-8.800 adjustable pr, and even at the shortest setting, there was no lash, and it was opening the valve.

TIA

FYI, with shaved heads .040, Morel lifters, .030 pre-load and a cam-motion cam, I used 7.665" pushrods.

I'm sure they are for stock heads, stock base circle cam, and stock lifters that like lots of preload.
