For a 402 LS2, will the LS7 intake manifold fit on that?

 

I am pretty sure the height of the heads differ on the ls7 and the runners are also longer for the ls7 intake. Well wider not longer. So no it won't work unless you get the ls7 heads as well. I am not 100% sure about this but I do remember reading something about this somewhere either on here or in a mag.

Is this right guys?

 

If you are using LS7 heads it will work. If not, the LS2 has cathedral intake ports and will not match the LS7 intake.

Jason is correct the LS7 manafold will only work with LS7 heads. Now to get a little deaper into this, the guys at GM recomend a min. bore of 4.065 with the LS7 head, and the biger the bore the better. Now, the good news is once the 6.2 heads release you will have a set of big port factory GM heads + an intake that will work with your 402. The intake will be for a truck since it will be released for the Escalade, but I'm sure FAST will be on top of a car intake in no time!!
