The fastest Nitrous LS2 is the Z28 that I built. Times are in my Sig. It should be the fastest this year too. I will have at the track soon and I will see to it that the atomic bomb get's sprayed at this car.

Mike,
That is awesome. I have a few questions. How long have you made that much HP on a stock block? Is the new crank going to be a stock stroke also? What, if any, problems have you ran into with the stock block ? Would you consider a 4.125" bore on a sleeved block.
The reason I'm asking is that we will soon be testing a new LS1 2nd gen. block (parts should cross over from your LS2) . We will be looking for, a throw everything you have at it, experienced tuner (so it gets a legit test) to test it. The fact that yours is street and strip is even better. It will be a 4.125" bore for turbo and nitrous applications. Max. bore will be 4.200" for strictly NA (no nitrous) applications. I will have to see when it's ready and who is going to test it. Your accomplishment with the current block sounds very interesting. Without giving any details of your set-up (unless you want to), what are your internals rated for?

we'll see how she goes
id like to try to put up a fight for the fastest 402 on spray.
not sure im a contender, but i'll try. if the car ever runs again. lol
i have a lot done considering. my hood will be all mounted and sent out for paint, and the under hood will be ready for paint by the end of this week.
the back of the car is rewired, the doors are rewired, and the pannals will be going back on tonight. then its just running wiring for the head lights, fogs, and blinkers, then hooking it all up.
after that i need to get the motor in, and wired then the tranny mounted and im done.
geez, more work then i thought.

We use Callies Rods and Mahle race pistons in both cars. The new crank in mine will be a Forged Callies also. We also run stock caps on the Formula but it has a girdle. Something I think I will add when the crank goes in.
If you want us to test something for you we have no problems in doing so. We can put it in a 3,700+ lb car and take it to 1300+ FWHP or stick it in a 3,400 lb car and take it to 1600+ FWHP.
Noyzee,
It looks like your almost done. At least you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Good luck to ya.
