We have pressed a LS1 trigger on an LS7 crank. We have a jig to align it correctly.

What about the longer snout on the LS7 crank? Doesn't that cause a problem on an engine without the dry sump setup?

Also, since the bobweights for the LS7 are setup for the lightweight titanium rods, will you have to add mallory metal to balance with regular rods and pistons?

good point, the LS-7 crank is balanced for LS-7 components. Would need to re-balance to the new bobweight.

What are you going to do with the LS7 reluctor wheel ? We are waiting on one from GM for a project. We do have new LS1 reluctor wheels in stock if you need one.
Does anyone know for sure that the Goodson tool also works on the LS7 reluctor wheel ?

We checked the alignment of the 58x wheel before we pulled it - just to check the tool since it was new. It was dead on.
