New engine start up procedure? OIL prime?

Default New engine start up procedure? OIL prime?

Guys i am so used to motors with distributors and being able to prime the engine before start up . what can i do for this ls2 ? I want to fire it up tomorrow. thanks

I leave my plugs out and run the starter for about 20-30 seconds and up pops the oil pressure...Then maybe a couple more short spins to show pressure on oil gauge and then fire it up.

or if you have the plugs in.....unhook your coil pack connectors....

^^^ He's talking about the big connector on each side BTW, not each one, that would be a bitch. lol ^^^

OR you could just pull the ignition fuses. There is one for each bank, they are in the box closest to the front of the car.
