Default ECM reprograming

I've got a 98' Camaro with an 06' LS2 with the new 58X reluctor wheel. Does anyone know someone who can reporgram my original ECU to run the new motor.

I'm far from an expert but I don't think your old PCM can be programed to run a motor with a 58X reluctor. It's either change the reluctor to 24X or get the newer PCM/VCM/ECU. Hopefully someone who knows the facts will confirm this.

Typically you should have changed the reluctor wheel to the 24x. The LS1 PCM only sees the 24x signal.

There may be some kind of converter as this swap is getting popular.

Thanks, I would change it out but everything is already bolted in. Where should I start looking to see if I could find a converter out on the market?

I don't if this "converter" is available. Right now you have two choices; remove the crank and have the 24X reluctor ring pressed on, or switching to the 06 PCM and harness.

Call or email John at Speartech and buy an LS2 wiring harness, VCM and fly by wire throttle pedal and you're home free, well not quite free, but you'll get the job done. I think the LS2 has a fly by wire throttle body, doesn't it?
