Default Centering the oil pump necessary or not?
I just got done porting my stock oil pump and remembered someone mentioning centering the oil pump on the crank. is this really necessary to prevent uneven wear? Or should I not worry about it.

I think it is a good idea. do it with .002 feeler gauge. It only takes a couple of minutes...Handzel has good directions in his ls1 book.
