Default Need input on doing heads or a nitrous kit

I am going to have the guys at Arizona Power and Sound put in their AZPS-03 cam, hardened pushrods, dual valve springs, FAST intake, headers, and a tune. It turns out I am going to have more money available in addition to covering the above mentioned work. My question is should I get a set of heads, just port my stockers, or put a plate nitrous system on it with a 75-100 shot? Which heads should I get? My preference right now is AFR's, but I hear their wait time is like 8 weeks. I want my stuff quicker than that.

I'ld say talk to the guys at AZPS to see what they have available head wise.

They may have a set of LS2/LS6 heads that are already ported out or have a set of the AFR's instock. And since your taking the vehicle to them to have the work done you might be able to get a little back from the LS2 heads you already have.

In your situation I would do the heads, especially since you're already right there to do it. If it's thier own cam, they should know what kind of heads would best compliment it, and they should be able to give you a nice H/C package

I think I am leaning more toward porting my heads and adding a wet nitrous kit. I am also thinking of buying lightweight rods, pistons, and flywheel.

They are not disclosed unless you actually drive your car there(or ship it) and buy a cam and have them install it. With just the AZPS-03, dual valve springs, titanium retainers, FAST intake, headers, and a tune I can look forward to 440-450 WHP on 91 octane. If I get aftermarket heads I'll get another 40-50 WHP. This is what they told me today. And it will have a broad torque curve that is fairly daily driveable. There are some guys on LS2GTO.com that have them and they are very happy with their results.
