Converting LS1 wiring to LS2 PLEASE HELP !!!

Post Swap Oil pan from LS1 to LS2 engine

the LS2 oil pan on the front of the engine is deeper then the LS1 , now my question is do i have to swap out the oil pick up tube and the bearing cap cover since my oil pan for the LS1 wont fit ... and is there a gasket for the Oil pan pick up tube that i need ? PLease help ASAP

Default LS1 to LS2 throttle body ?

I am swaping engines From and LS1 to LS2, and i need to find a throttle body that will work that is cable driven but has to be a 4 bolt that bolts onto the LS2 intake, i have heard of FAST LSX TB, but i dont know where to look at it at , does anyone have any ANswers for this PLEASE help , or have a picture and price for this ? please HELP !!

Use your LS6 intake and TB. Believe me you will be better off. The LS2 intake is a loser.

Post Throttle body

What is the Throttle body by F.A.S.T LSX called that works for Cable Driven on the LS2 ? does anyone know what it is called ? or gotta link to the page where i can find this Throttle Body , cause im switching from an LS1 to LS2 and i need the fast TB.. Anyone PLease HElp ..

Default After Installing the LS2

After i install my LS2 into the Car with all the correct wiring harnesses will the car even start up ? in just kinda wondering to see what might happen after its all done ? since my computer is Still reading that its an LS1 and really its an LS2 engine , i know i will need it tuned , but does anyone know what the car will run like after everything is hooked up and ready to start ?

It should run fine. A buddy of mine swaped a LQ9 into a 1500 Z71 that had a 5.3L in it and it ran like normal. But I would STILL get it retuned!

Where can i mount my LS1 knock sensor on the Passenger side ? and does it matter if these knock sensors get wet , cause its a possibility they will if i dont cover them up. My Question now is can i use my negitive terrminal that grounds out to the block , can i put my ground and the sensor in the same hole ?

Default bIG KNCCK SENSOR PROBLEM

i ALREADY GO THE ENGINE BOLTED IN THE CAR AND NOW ITS GUNNA BE HARD TO DRILL AND TAP OUT THE PASSENGER SIDE KNOCK SENSOR HOLE CAUSE THERES NO ROOM .. USING MY ls1 KNOCK SENSORS IN MY ls2

a Nick Williams 90mm TB should bolt right up to a LS2 intake. don't get a FAST 90mm TB

Wink LS1 to LS2 computer

would i have to get a new ECM , or a new computer for my 99ta if i am switching my LS1 engine to the LS2 ? or will i be ok getting my LS1 computer tuned to the LS2 tuning ?
