Default Someone ought to...

put together a stroker kit with LS7 rods, JE FSR pistons (the new Diamonds would probably be ok also), and a CompStar or equivalent 4.125 crank. Maybe with coated bearings and a nice strong rod bushing.

A neat, strong, light, and hopefully reliable 418 or 441 bottom end.

I'm putting together a darton sleeved LS2 block with diamond pistons/eagle crank/callies rods at a 4.16 bore/4.1stroke with the new L92 heads+sheetmetal intake. This makes for a neat, strong, light, and "hopefully" reliable 446 bottom end

Because the LS7 rod (6.067") and standard 4" stroke pistons (1.115" compression height) work out to a 0 deck height with a 4.125" stroke in a 9.24" block.
