Oil pan swap From LS1 to LS2

Question Oil pan swap From LS1 to LS2

the LS2 oil pan on the front of the engine is deeper then the LS1 , now my question is do i have to swap out the oil pick up tube and the bearing cap cover since my oil pan for the LS1 wont fit ... and is there a gasket for the Oil pan pick up tube that i need ? PLease help ASAP

Your Ls1 pan will fit once you put and Ls1 windage tray(bearing cap cover) on
and use your Ls1 pickup. I tried to put an fbody oil pan on a gto Ls2 and once
I swapped windage trays it fit. The o ring part # needed for the pick up tube is
on www.hotrodlane.cc website.
