Default warhawk block, what LS style is it?

what is the style of the warhawk block ( 4.000" bore and 4.125" )?

is it LS1 style, LS2 style or LS7 style?

I'd say it's more of a hybrid of all three. But it is an LSx based block I believe.

Same bore as LS7 yes, but I don't think it is a dry sump. I also think a lot of the LS1 covers are going to fit on the block. I'm really not too sure, but it's not like any one LS engine.

The Warhawk LS7X block is it's own unique design. It improves and expands all the OE blocks. It IS dry sump capable. It does NOT use OE covers, it has it's own due to design differences.

They have an article in the new Hot Rod. Its fuggin great! I am so tempted to just go with one on my hybrid project, even though its so so far beyond what I need.

I'd like to use one to make a big bore stock stroke high rpm screamer for an RX7 project. Put a big nasty cam in, 225cc 15 degree heads etc and just enjoy pulling from 4 to 8. It would make for a great road race car an a great 60 foot at the same time
