Default Someone explain camshaft duration

I am shopping for the right cam for me and i can't decide on what to get. 1. What are the benefits to cams with the same intake and exhaust duration? (example TR224/224) 2. What are the benefits of having more exhaust duration? (ex TSP 231/237 <---- thats the one im leaning towards) and 3. whats the benefits of reverse split cams? (ex TR230/224)? I will be a cam only DD with full exhaust, (pacesetters and x-pipe) Should i get a reverse split cam to overcompensate for my intake because it won't be upgraded? or should i get the tsp 231/237 to take advantage of my exhaust system??? Any help is much appreciated, . . . . thanx
