If you have the stock 241's for that 01 then a set of ported Ls6's would be good.
Dart (later castings) would be a good low cost upgrade as well.
Edelbrocks LS1 heads haven't seen anyone list up what they offer.
Price/performance kings are still AFR or ETP (RHS's 11degree 210 and 225 are ETP's design).
Kits... Patriots LS6 kit (cam, heads, and rockers) one of the best bang for buck packages (around 1800 at summit or ls1speed).
If you have a ram air setup done to increase your intake volume you could possible look at a head/cam kit along with headers and a cat back to put your at or above the naturally aspirated 400 to 450 rwhp mark. Not sure what manifold you have but a LS6 or LSX would probably be a good idea as well.
Unfortunately for the LS1 stock bore you can not use the L92 style heads (valves are to large for the LS1's bore size). Those are looking to be the must haves of the coming year (everyone is still waiting on the ausie manifold to become available though).
